Saturday August 10th 1878 Hatt went over to town the first thing this morning. I finished my white waist and made Mother a couple of pair cuffs. I got the dinner while Mother took a nap. May went over to Wildes to spend the day. After dinner Mother and I went out to Mrs. Dennisons to stay a couple of hours. Called at Mrs Custors and Mother went after May while I got the supper started. Hatt and Win spent the afternoon and to Fletchers. I worked on my tidy in the evening. Sunday August 11th 1878 Mollie came up again this morning and we young folks all went to church. Mother had dinner ready when we got home. I wrote a long letter to Charlie in the afternoon. Mollie had company from town and they with Ott & Hatt went to the lecture at four oclock. I walked down to Robinsons and did not get home till after six. Win and Lillie was here and supper was ready. I read a little in the evening and went to bed early.
