Friday February 28th 1879. I was busy about the house all the forenoon. I gave my room an extra cleaning In the afternoon I finished up Mays cloak Mother went to town for groceries I knit all the evening. Saturday March 1st 1879. We were very late with the breakfast this morning I did the work up stairs the first thing. Winnie and Libbie Stevens came this morning and Lib stayed all day. We were busy till three oclock doing the work After that I did some mending and finished up my weeks work in good shape. Rob and Hatt got home at noon today having had a nice trip, and brought us some things from the folks. Anna Wilson and Win came over to supper In the evening we girls went to ladies society the programme was good but the audience was so large and unruly that no one could see or hear. Weather more pleasant.
