Thursday March 6th 1879. I did another large wsahing this morning and worked all the afternoon and evening on my tidy weather warm and pleasant. Friday March 7th 1879. As soon as I get the work done up I took May and went to town to have her picture taken when I went around town to attend errands and it was after twelve oclock when I got home. I cut carpet rags in the afternoon. At night we all went to the Zet Exhibition I went with Lee. I think I liked it better than the Irving. Weather warm as summer I was tired nearly to death when I got home. Saturday March 8th 1879. It took till three oclock in the afternoon to get the house-work and baking done the weather so warm one could hardly work I began to make a canvas tidy worked with blue for Mifs Cattrell and worked on it till late in the evening A year today Maggie Luse died.
