Sunday March 9th 1878 I did not go to church in the morning in the afternoon Rob, Ott, Hatt and I went to the funeral of Fletchers baby. When I came home at five oclock found Ella Mc and Mollie Stevens here they did not stay long. Hatt stopped over to Wins and they came home to supper. I went over to church in the evening Otto brought us home. Monday March 10th 1879. Weather still warm and pleasant. I washed this morning. As soon as dinner over began work on my tidy kept at it till late bed time only stopping to help with the supper. Tuesday March 11th 1879. Helped with the work in the forenoon and as soon as dinner was over I went down to Lathrops where I spent a very pleasant afternoon I did not get home till evening. Mother was in town all the afternoon I worked on my tidy all the evening. A beautiful warm spring-like afternoon.
