55 Wednesday May 5th 1875. Tom and Ett went home early this morning and Art went with them. Just before I was ready to start to school it began to rain and it fairly poured the whole forenoon. I finished my mat and made another one like what I made Monday night. As soon as we ate our dinner Laura and I went down town with Sam in the waggon. I got stuff to fix my linin dress and tidy cotton to make another tidy After we came home I sewed the buttons on my mats, and did my ironing I began a large wheel tidy in the evening. I was at Etties awhile this afternoon and made a short and pleasant call at Mrs B__s. I got another sheet of music today "Jamie True" and I got my own watch again. Saw Billy a few moments. I ordered some more photos today. Thursday May 6th 1875. It was muddy and Sam took me to school this morning After he came from taking Art to the depot for him and Ettie are going to Normal today. I did not come right home from school. But stopped and took supper with
