74 to do some baking as we were going to have company in the evening. I got all through with it by supper time. Cousin Anna came over late in the afternoon. Our company came in the evening and we did have a splendid time. I did not expect to enjoy myself at all for I had the blues worse today than I have had them for a year. Are my trials of the past to remain so vividly fixed in my mind as long as I live? It was after twelve oclock before the folks went home. It looked like rain all the evening. Weather very warm. Sunday June 27th 1875. I was sick all the forenoon. I got up about noon and got me some thing to eat and felt some better. Mr Alder took Winnie to the valley after dinner. And Otto came home with him as he went down yesterday. I changed my dress late in the afternoon thinking to go over to the University but it looked like rain and I went over to Folsoms. Jim, Mollie and I went walking and Jim came over home with me. In the evening we young folks had a sing. Went to bed early tonight. Weather cooler.
