140 Saturday December 25th 1875. Late again this morning. Mother went to town and I got the dinner. She heard in town that Hattie intended to teach next week. As soon as we got dinner over I went over to Wins and took dinner with her. She came down to the bridge with me when I came home. I saw Ella McCollister and she invited we young folks down there next Wednesday night. It was just dark when I got home. I helped with the evening work and read some in the evening. Sunday December 26th 1875. We found it snowing this morning when we got up I did not feel at all well today I helped do the work and read some. Winnie was over awhile in the afternoon. I went to bed early tonight. Monday December 27th 1875. I helped do house-work all the forenoon and soon after dinner Lee and I went to town in the sleigh I got some groceries and we were up to Wins a little while. As soon as we got home Mother and Lee took a ride out to see
