Friday November 23rd 1877 We ironed a little more today and Rob and I put down the stair carpet in the morning. I practiced an hour in the afternoon and was over to Mattie Fletchers an hour. Hatt spent the evening in town and I practiced and knit. Saturday November 24th 1877 I did house-work from the time I got up till four oclock in the afternoon. Mother went to town in the afternoon and I finished up the baking. Mrs Luse called here in the afternoon. Mrs Robinson & Mrs. Custor came over before supper and their husbands came for them and spent the evening. Mattie and Bill were over and Mollie Stevens came over to stay all night. Sunday November 25th 1877. I helped do up the work and went to church. It began to rain just at night. I wrote to Miss Lewis and in the evening I read and practiced. Monday November 26th 1877 I did the washing this forenoon and practiced awhile in the afternoon. Just before night though it was storming I walked over to Wins. There was a lot of us girls went to the theater the play was splendid. I came home with Lee and Mr Cattrell. Walking horrible!
