Thursday February 12- 1935  Busy with my work.  Mrs Gays sister and husband here for dinner.  I went to Hatties by taxi early in PM.  Came back the same way [illegible] - late bed time.  Rob & Cora away for the afternoon.
Wednesday February 13- 1935  I was home all day busy with my crotchet work.  Mr Gay went away for a few days.  It rained in afternoon and evening.  Letter from Ida
Thursday February 14- 1935  The Whetstones came for me at seven to go Mrs Willis Mercers to A Red meeting a valintine party  It rained most of the day.  I worked on crotchet  Wrote Winnie
Friday February 15- 1935  I was home all day and worked most of the time on chair set.  a dark day.  Mrs Gay away in evening  Letter from a cousin in Louisville and from Cal Eggleston
Saturday February 16- 1935  Busy here in AM.  Mrs Welsh doing cleaning  Mary took me up town in PM.  Was at Dr Smiths office did errands and went to picture show to see May Robson.  Mary brought me home.  my face better.
Sunday February 17- 1935  Mr. Gay took me to church.  Hattie & I went over to Otts in a taxi.  He did not feel like coming to church  William & Mary went to Chicago before noon.  I brought some things to stay a few days.
