20 Wednesday April 10- 1935. A hard rain early. Mary took me up town I got $3000 from Rob for [Hearst?] Bond interest Mary brought me home. I wrote LeGrand a year ago today he started to Alaska and Betty Boswell was married. Mrs. Gay had a woman helping her. I was in every room resting. Thursday April 11- 1835. I wrote Ida in forenoon. Mrs. Gay had help again I went to Mrs Pratts to a Red Luncheon with the Whetstones. Came home early with Helen [Whinnery?]. Later Hattie came and we went to the church supper in a taxi. The Andersons bought me home. raining tonight. Friday April 12- 1935. Mary came and took Hattie & me to The SUI hospital for my treatment. She stopped here till Rob went home to lunch. I slept in PM. read in evening. Saturday April 13- 1935. I coughed so I slept little last night I was in bed. Dr. Ned came to see me. Hattie here all the afternoon. Mr. Gay home from the north. Sunday April 14- 1935. I was up for meals, but in bed till late in the afternoon. I got ready to go up to Whetstones Rob came for me at 6. oclock. Monday April 15- 1935. A frightfully cold windy day I read some and was in bed part of the afternoon. Hattie did not go to the Home to a meeting of ladies to which she was invited.
