Tuesday April 16- 1935 Weather better. Rob went to Des Moines for the day. I read some and was in bed most of the afternoon. Mrs. Ensign in for the evening. Wednesday April 17- 1935 Mrs.Gay here in the afternoon. She brought my mail. Letter from Winnie. She took Hattie over to Byingtons and William brought her home. Ott better - I hurt a little. Thursday April 18 1935 I put in a very uncomfortable day with stomach and bowels. wrote Winnie early in the day. Hattie went to church in evening with the Ensigns. It was communion service. Rather a pleasant day. Friday April 19- 1935 I felt much better today. I did some knitting but had my rest in afternoon. Hattie went over to Byingtons to stay all night. William and Mary going out for evening. Saturday April 20- 1935 I wrote LeGrand and Louie Brennan in forenoon. Soon as we had lunch, the Whetstones went to Burlington. Got home at 6 oclock bringing Birdie with them. Sunday April 21st 1935 It was late when we had breakfast. Hattie Rob and Cora went to church. I did not attempt it. Visited with Birdie I rested most of the PM. Rob did not come home to supper we visited in the living room till 9:30. Easter Sunday pleasantly spent.
