Monday April 22- 1935 Rob went to Des Moines and Eva to Cedar Rapids with Helen Whinery she took Hattie & me over to SUI hospital for the third treatment We came back by taxi. I stopped at Gays and she went on home I had letters here from LeGrand & Lorna and a check for witness fee for the Folsons case. I slept awhile in the afternoon Mrs Gay away in the evening William came for a call. Tuesday April 23- 1935 I put in most of the forenoon writing to Lorna I had another letter with one enclosed from Okla City. Cousin Jane has moved out of her home I rested part of the afternoon Dr Ned came in. I heard from Aunt Emma that Floyd Stevens was taken to Mercy Hospital for an operation for appendicitis Wednesday April 24- 1935 I wrote Will & Flora LeGrand and Grace McCollister early in forenoon. I rested in PM. wrote Lorna & Edith and went up to Library for some books. Early to bed Thursday April 25- 1935 I coughed most of the night Telephoned Dr Ned and Hattie. She spend the forenoon here. She had to go home at noon as Erma was sewing for them today She came back in the evening Mrs Miller here working for Mrs Gay Brothers Charlie would have been 89 years old today
