Sunday May 19- 1935 A rainy day. Hattie to SS & Rob & Cora to church I read some. slept in the PM. I listened to radio in evening Monday May 20- 1935 A rainy day. The men here working on the rooms up stairs. I read some in Hattie's old diary. She went to a club luncheon I slept part of the afternoon. Tuesday May 21- 1935 I began a pattern for chair back in crotchet. Hattie and Cora went to Tiffin to a party and did not get home til six o clock. I listened to Radio in evening Wendesday May 22- 1935 Rob took me over to Otts about ten oclock. William & Mary gone to Des Moines for the day. Ott & I had lunch alone and and good visit. Rob came later and brought me over to Gays. Dr Ned came in to see me and I came home with Rob. Letter from Winnie Thursday May 23- 1935 Rob & Lorna to Des Moines for the day. I worked on crotchet in AM and slept in PM. There were so many at work here today. Alice moved her things up stairs wrote Winnie & a note to Julia McCollister Friday May 24- 1935 Rob brought me down to Gays in AM. I unpacked my things Mary here later to get some things to sell at their shop. I slept some in PM. Crotched on chair protector & talked to Mrs Gay in evening
