Thursday May 30- 1935 I did some sewing to fix my kimono. Then began some crotchet work for Mrs. Gay. I had letters from Lorna and Grace Taylor. The Whetstones busy with their company. Friday May 31st 1935 I was busy with crotchet work part of the time, after doing some other things. more rain. A letter from Julia McCollister. Robert Jellison came tonight Saturday June 1st 1935 William took me up town this morning to do a few errands. I rested in early PM. Later the Jellisons came with Hattie in the car and left us at the Union to attend reception by Elder Daughters. It rained most of the afternoon and evening. Wrote Erma Herriott Sunday June 2- 1935 Went to church with the Andersens. William & Mary to Burlington in PM. I slept and rested Mr Gay left for Chicago. Mrs Gay away in PM I wrote Lorna & Grace Taylor in evening. Monday June 3rd 1935 I went with Reed Hedges to their apartments for lunch when he came from graduation at the Field House. Others of the family were there Later they came down here for a little while to take pictures I was busy with crotchet work and slept some Rode with Mrs Gay after supper. Mrs Jensens down for the evening
