Tuesday June 4 1935 Rob came for me early I spent the day up there. Did some sewing and rested some. Such a windy day growing cold letter from Gertrude Mitchell Wednesday June 5- 1935 So cold this morning. I wrote LeGrand. Rob came for me at noon. He took Hattie and me over to Mrs Bywaters in PM to Association meeting Thursday June 6- 1935 We were up early and soon after seven left for Mason City to meet the Jellisons there. We all reached there in time for lunch. They had Cora with them. She had gone home with them Sunday we reached home at seven oclock a wonderful ride of 375 miles. Rob brought me home after supper. Friday June 7- 1935 I was home all day busy with crotchet work. Carrie Anderson called in the afternoon and Hattie here late. Mary came in the evening she gave me $8.00 for my bed spread and hat box she had sold weather cool for the time of year. Harriet Thompson here Saturday June 8- 1935 William took me up town I put $20.00 in the bank. Was at Dr Ned Smiths offiice. He told me how much my bill is (very moderate) I slept a while in the afternoon I was here alone most of the evening busy with the crotchet work. This has been a bright day but cool.
