Sunday September 8th 1935 It rained all day. The girls went to church. I read the papers and a book in PM after I had a sleep. Monday September 9th 1935 I had a bad night something like asthma that I never had before. Laura did what she could to relieve me. I slept very little. Dr Fockler came at seven oclock and left medicine. Edith washing and went to the country for grapes. Laura busy with the work & care of me. Tuesday September 10th 1935 I slept well last night. Dr Fockler here again in AM. Laura took a lady to Peoria after lunch Edith busy with the work. Letter from Hattie they got home at 12:15. I got up about three oclock and worked on Edna's table cover.
