Sunday October 6th 1935 We went to SS & church and in afternoon took a ride to New Holland taking Mrs Woolf with us. called on Ella Chestnut. Home at dark and evening there. Monday October 7th 1935 I had another attack that choking last night. Laura did what she could to relieve me. Dr Fockler came early. I was in bed all day. Edith [taught?] in PM. Tuesday October 8th 1935 Still in bed. a letter from Hattie tells Frank Whinney Jr died suddenly Sunday morning. The girls busy with their work. Wednesday October 9th 1935. Still in bed. I wrote Hattie I am sick. A letter from Ida Mattie Stitt & Cora Mitchell who sent P O order for the threat in her table cover. Edith away part of afternoon. Thursday October 10th 1935 I was up awhile in afternoon and again in evening. Hattie called up before nine oclock. They will come for me. Friday October 11th 1935 Early this morning Ed & Ada McCallister came in. They had been in Ohio. The girls had a good visit with them. I was sick to my stomach all day, could not sit up. Saturday October 12th 1935 The McCallisters went on home about ten oclock. I felt better today. I had letter from Hattie. Wrote her and sent special delivery. Ed Mc had called her at six oclock and later she called us. Edith over to Morton in PM for a lady [heneger???] a bright pleasant day.
