Tuesday November 19th 1935 I wrote cards to Ida, Grace Taylor & Mary price on AM. A letter from Grace McCallister tells that Dear Cousin Jen died early Sunday morning. Hattie here late in forenoon. Rob came for her. I slept in PM and crotcheted some. still cloudy. Wednesday November 20th 1935 The sun shining today. I wrote Ida Anderson in forenoon. I crotcheted some. Slept in PM and Nellie Swisher here for a call. Evening reading. Rob & the girls to Des Moines today. Thursday November 21st 1935 I was up early. Emma came to sew and while Mrs Gay went to the shop awhile she fixed the green dress Hattie gave me last spring. I slept in afternoon. Letter from Mrs Falk. wrote Winnie. Friday November 22nd 1935 I finished hemming some napkins. Mrs Gay did not go back very soon after lunch. She got word that 48 of their fine sheep had been stolen. Cora & Blanche went to Chicago as did William & Mary. Rob to Des Moines. Hattie came for me late in the PM to stay the week end with her. I coughed a lot last night and did not feel very well today. I was so short of breath in the evening Hattie telephoned Dr Ned and he sent up some thing from the store. a cold raw air.
