Saturday November 23rd 1935 I was in bed all day so tight in my chest I could hardly breath. Ott & Buddy here for lunch. Dr Ned here late in PM. He took Ott home. Buddy on his wheel his birthday. Sunday November 24th 1935 A quiet day. I was in bed all day. Hattie busy with some book keeping. She did not go to church. Rob & The Byingtons to home. Monday November 25th 1935 I feel some better. Cora & Blanche home on late train. Rob met them. I had letter from Laura. Tuesday November 26th 1935 I am still in bed most of the time. Hattie went to their crotchet club. Cora too busy. I wrote LeGrand in afternoon. Wednesday November 27th, 1935 I was up some today. I do not cough so much. The girls getting ready for tomorrow. Birdie came at supper time. Otto Jellison at ten oclock. he drove down. snow tonight, Thursday November 28th 1935 Thanksgiving day. and very cold. I put on a dress but did not go down to dinner. The Byingtons here. [Ida?] with them. They all came to see me. I had a good visit with Ott. We had late lunch in evening. The folks all at home. I am thankful to feel as well as I do. Friday November 29th 1935 A good night, no coughing. But did not gt up till noon. Rob, Cora, Blanche & Ott to Cedar Rapids. Hattie away in PM. Evening with Hattie & Birdie. weather better.
