6 Tuesday January 11th 1876. I got my house-work done as early as I possibly could and then went to my sewing I got considerable done on my dress. I got two letters today one from Al and one from Will Reed. I sewed some at night. Weather quite pleasant. Wednesday January 12th 1876 I sewed all the forenoon and helped a little with the washing in the afternoon and just before night. I was over to Folsoms on an errand. I called on Tom Cowan and wife at Mrs McGoverns this morning. Charlie McCall was over here today he brought me a note from Mr Chase asking me to attend McCalls party with him on Friday night. I accepted the invitation. I heard Minervia Hart was to be married tonight. I cut out a white swiss sacque apiece for Hattie and I this evening and after I went to my room wrote to Al and Will Reed. Mother and Father spent the evening at Gill Fletchers.
