10 Thursday January 20th 1876 I did up my work and washed out a few things and then had a little time to practice a little. Winnie was over after her cake-pan. As soon as I ate my dinner I got ready to go to town. I went down to McCalls and spent an hour pleasantly enough. I called at Sallie Harts. I took "Recreation March" for music lesson from four to five. I took supper and spent the evening at Mygatts. Lee came over after me. I got to nice sets of glass-ware this afternoon. I got home before nine oclock I wrote a note to Charlie McCall tonight. Friday January 21st 1876. I did house-work and ironed all the forenoon and practiced a little in the afternoon. We got Lee started to the valley this morning. Him and Hattie got here just as supper was ready. The boys all went to society tonight and we girls did not do much but talk. It has been a chilly day threatening snow. Went to bed early.
