19 Tuesday February 8th 1876. I ironed this forenoon and sewed a little in the afternoon. It has been a fogy day. Mr Chase was here a few moments just before supper. Mother was to town nearly all the afternoon. I practiced a little in the evening. Wednesday February 9th 1876. It rained most of the last night and was still raining this morning I never saw the like in the winter time: a perfect deluge. I dident do much of any-thing but help with the work I have a real bad cold. I practiced a little in the morning. Thursday February 10th 1874. I sewed most of the day. About four oclock Charlie McCall came over and thought we could go on with our party. I went to town with him, and completed arrangements It was dark when I got home, and I was so worn and tired. I helped do up the work, and after writing a note to Mr Chase went to bed. Weather cloudy and sultry.
