26 Friday February 25th 1876 I got up this morning but dont know that I feel very much better Rob is sick again with sore throat, such an afflicted family We persuaded Mother to go to the valley after Hatt as this is the last day of her school. I got up some dinner for the boys and and as soon as I got the work done laid down on the sofa where Mother found me when she got home at five oclock. Mrs Palmer and Charlie McCall spent the evening here. And Ella McCollister came home with Hatt to stay all night. Mother sent for the Doctor he came over about nine oclock. A splendid day. Saturday February 26th 1876. I did not sit up at all today. Ella went home. Weather very pleasant. Sunday February 27th 1876. Did not sit up any today Weather very disagreeable. Rob wrote a postal for me to my friend at Allerton. I hope I may feel better tomorrow. A rainy dark night.
