27 Monday February 28th 1876. I sat up a little today. Weather unpleasant. Sunday February 28th 1876. I sat up quite a good deal today Mollie Folsom was to see me this morning. Wednesday March 1st 1876 I sat up some today. Wrote a letter to Charlie and a note to Mr Chase in the afternoon. It snowed some this morning. Thursday March 2nd 1876 I did not sit up this morning. I got up a little while in the afternoon and answered a letter I got from Allerton this morning. Friday March 3rd 1876. I was up most of the day. They all went of to the Exhibition and left me entirely alone what a long lonesome evening it was. Saturday March 4th 1876. I worked in the carpet rags most all day Charlie McCall came over in the afternoon and stayed and spent the evening I had a note from Mr Chase. The roads are getting awful.
