32. Friday March 17th 1876. I did not feel at all well today. But sewed most of the day. Weather cold and bad, snow blowing all day. Just before night it got a little better. We girls did not go to the Zets exhibition tonight, went to bed early. Saturday March 18th 1876. We went to washing this morning and got all done by noon. Emma Moon took dinner here. After dinner we cleaned the house all up and baked cake. I took things out of the bed-room and changed them around generally. The two Mrs Adkins took supper here. We girls went to town after supper with the little boys to see if we could hear any thing from Charlie. As we did not we went down to Wins and spent the evening had a real pleasant time. Jim Folsom was her a little while and went over town as we did A cold chilly wind from the east which make is very disagreeable.
