42 rags, and I did not get them finished till nearly bed-time there was so many more than I thought for. Mr Hersey and Mr Pottle came down to play whist. Only one game and Mr P. and Hattie got away with that. Friday April 14th 1876. I washed some this morning and ripped up Mothers stripped dress before dinner. I ironed most of the afternoon. After supper Hattie and Blanche Moon and myself walked over to town. I got five napkin rings tonight. Blanche and I went up to Wins with Hatt she intended staying there all night. As we came down street we met Mr Chase he walked down to the bridge. I worked till nine oclock after I got home. Then practiced awhile and went to bed. Weather pleasanter. Saturday April 15th 1876. I got right up this morning and at the work I had it all done so I sat down to sew at nine oclock. Hattie got home in time to help get the dinner. I finished fixing
