48 twelve oclock when the boys went up stairs. I never saw two fellows act so. Mr Bently and Hatt put Mr H_ and I out in the kitchen and fastened us out. I got two sheets of music today the "Iowa Polka" and "Iowa March" Rather a pleasant day. Thursday April 27th 1876. A windy disagreeable day We girls cleaned the bed room and took the bed out of the parlor this forenoon. In the afternoon I baked cake cut out Otts shirts and cleaned out my trunk After supper I walked to town It was terribly windy I never went to town when it was much worse. I was tired and did not do much of any thing at night. Friday April 28th 1876. On account of the accident on the river we put of our party. I was sewing all day on Otts shirts Will and Father began work on our new kitchen today. Winnie stayed all night here and we sent for Mollie and Jim to spend the evening. As there was no society the boys came down and we had a gay time.
