50 Monday May 1st 1876. A cold chilly morning and we did not wash I worked around the house all the forenoon and practiced in the afternoon. Hattie went to town to stay all night with Winnie. Mr Hersey came down in the evening to play seven-up with me. Tuesday May 2nd 1876. A cold chilly day I did nothing but fool around at the house-work in the forenoon. In the afternoon I went down to Robinsons and called on Miss Anderson We young folks with Winnie spent the evening very pleasantly at Folsoms Winnie stayed here all night. Wednesday May 3rd 1876 We girls cleaned out the cellar this morning in good style. It was nearly dinner time when we finished. In the afternoon I helped Rob work in the yard and fixed the cellar windows. We moved into the new kitchen tonight. How proud and happy we were over it. I was very tired and went to bed early. Weather a little pleasanter than yesterday though still wintry.
