In the afternoon I came up town with Jim Mc And Blanche Moon came with me I wrote and mailed postal cards to Charlie, May Briggs, and Aunt Catherine. We got over home just as supper was ready I was too tired to do any thing at all in the evening. Friday May 12th 1876. I helped do up the work this morning and then Mother and I went to town in the buggy went over to the train to see if Aunt Lydia came, she did not. After I came home I baked two cakes to send to Aunt Emma. Mother went to the valley soon after dinner. We girls papered the dining room It was late before we got through.
