62 Sunday June 4th 1876 I wrote a little in the forenoon And as soon as dinner was over We young folks went to the swing where we had a gay time. Mr Bently gathered flowers for me on the way home About five oclock I started down to Robinsons but met them coming up to the bridge to watch an immersion. The two girls came up home with me and Ella McCall was over to. We girls went to church at night Hatt with Mr Hersey and I with Bently. Monday June 5th 1876. I got up very early and began sewing on Hatties cloak I finished it by eight oclock. We then began to bake cake we worked at that till four oclock in the afternoon. I then went to town and was gone till six I got Hatties hat and a number of things she wanted. I sewed some in the evening. Had a letter from Al.
