67. Friday 16th 1876. It was rainy this morning and I sent Lee to town for my sacque that Mrs Grey is cutting for me I worked on it all day. In the evening Rob and I went to society and from there to Prof Leonards reception. It was as disagreeable an evening as one could imagine. It was late when we got home and we were so tired. I had a letter today from one of my school girls with her picture. Saturday June 17th 1876 It rained all day long and was as cold as winter time I worked some on my sacque. Uncle Jacob was here all day and we had a splendid visit with him. We put up a stove in the sitting room today. We young folks played whist in the evening but some how did not get very much excited over it. We were all out to late last night.
