87. Friday July 28th 1876. Lou and I went to town this morning. And as soon as we came back she and Mother went to the valley. Mr Webb went home this morning and Hatt and I did nothing but the cooking and sewed on our pillow cases. They did not come home tonight and it was late when we got the work done. Saturday July 29th 1876. I got up real early this morning and still it was ten oclock before I could get ready to go to town. I walked over and got some groceries and things for Father to carry home. I then went to the dentists and had more work done on my teeth. It was noon when I got home. In the afternoon we baked pies cakes and did some other cooking I then scrubbed the kitchen And had only a few moments to sit down before it was time to get supper. Mother and Lou did not get home till night.
