101 Sunday September 10th 1876. It looked like rain this morning but we went to church. After we had dinner we went out to Sunday school at the new school-house in the district where I taught. I completely surprised the children. It rained on us going home. When we got there we found Mason's Bakers and Will R_ We spent the remainder of the afternoon visiting and after a family supper the married folks went home and we young folks went to church. Will came back home with us and stayed all night. Monday September 11th 1876. We went down to visit the school and went down to Etts to dinner. After dinner Rob and I called at Beechers and Duncans. After we came back all hands went down to the depot. We went home just before night and spent the evening very pleasantly there Ira was there and we played whist. Weather still gloomy. Bob wrote home today.
