102. Tuesday September 12th 1876 Jen was washing this morning and when Etta came out alone in her buggy and wanted me to go back with her I went. We rode around all the forenoon. And at noon I went over to Mrs Beechers to see Adah. I then came back over to Etts for my dinner. Will came around there and we took a ride to the Mackinaw. It was a lovely afternoon for driving and I enjoyed it very much. It was nearly supper time when we got home. Will went home after supper and we folks played whist again tonight. Wednesday September 13th 1876. It was raining this morning but all hands went to Peoria with us. We took dinner at Mrs Bakers and started from there at two oclock and it still raining. Will and Tom came down to the depot with us. We arrived at Burlington on time Charlie and Bird were down to the depot. We went to the Harris house and had supper. Went to bed early tonight.
