109 Saturday September 30th 1876 I helped clean up the house this morning and we girls put up a new stove in the dining room that Rob brought over yesterday afternoon. After dinner Hatt went over to see Winnie And Mother went over to Crowleys for grapes. I worked around the store room and baked the bread while Mother was gone. Rob and I went to the University social and then went around for Hatt. Weather pleasanter and it was a splendid night. Sunday October 1st 1876. I helped do house-work all the forenoon and spent the entire afternoon. I helped get supper and do up the work. We had a family sing tonight After that I wrote to Charlie. quite a pleasant day. Monday October 2nd 1876. I did the washing this morning, and Hatt ironed in the afternoon while I put up tomatoes. Mother went to the funeral of Mr and Mrs Moores boy baby. pleasant day.
