118 Saturday October 28th 1876 We girls did up the work this morning while Mother went to town in the buggy. Father went over to the train and got Cousin Gilead and his wife. We did nothing but the house-work and visit with the folks. Weather delightful. Sunday October 29th 1876. We did nothing but the house-work and visit. Aunty and Uncle Walker were here for dinner as was Cousin Eugene. Rob was going to take we girls for a drive in the afternoon but was disappointed in getting a carriage. Winnie came over and we girls all walked down to Robinsons for a little while. We got supper after we came home. A splendid day and evening. Monday October 30th 1876. It was a lovely morning and Cousin Gilead went to town and got a carriage and took both of us girls and his wife for a drive. We went up north of town and then to
