119 the valley where we called all around and had a real pleasant ride. We got home before two oclock and had dinner then went back to town to have a picture taken Rob took we girls and Cousin all through the University buildings. We visited in the evening. It has been a pleasant day and I have enjoyed it wonderfully. Tuesday October 31st 1876. It was not near so pleasant today. Father, Mother, Cousin and wife went up to Auntys to spend the day. I went to town this morning to get some little things for Mother and I got a new napkin ring for Charlie. It kept we girls both busy doing the work. I had time to draw of another breadth for my skirt. It was raining when they got home just before supper. But after night it stopped and they all went over to Eugenes to spend the evening. We did up all the work and then Rob and I took turns sitting up. I did not go to bed till two oclock.
