120 Wednesday November 1st, 1876 The folks got started this morning but it was raining when the bus came for them. Hatt and I went to bed and slept a little while after they started. It was a rainy bad day. We worked about the house all day. In the afternoon we washed the while clothes ready to boil. I was so tired and sleepy at night. Wrote to Mother. Thursday November 2nd 1876 Housework all day again. I baked bread and in the afternoon we finished the washing. We had our work done up so we had nothing but the dishes to wash after supper. Then we took our sewing and sat down. I wrote some more in my letter to Mother and sent it to the office this afternoon. Friday November 3rd 1876 It was rather pleasanter today. We brought the clothes in and got them ready to iron before dinner, in the afternoon Hatt ironed and I baked cake. I was awfully tired at night. Mr Whetstone spent the evening here.
