122 Tuesday November 7th 1876 This is election day and with us wash day. I did the washing and Hatt the work. After dinner I scrubbed the porch and then dressed myself and went to town. I did some shopping I got myself a new pair of shoes and overshoes. I got a new red tablecloth. It was nearly night when I got home. And Mother had been at work all the time I was gone cleaning up the back part of the house. Wednesday November 8th 1876 I did the ironing this forenoon and knit on a mitten in the afternoon and evening. I dident feel so very well this evening. to Robinsons in the afternoon. Thursday November 9th 1876 I did nothing but housework this forenoon and mend the clothes and put them away. Emma Moon came here today she had been out to Grinnell and came down last night. I knit what time I had. I was nearly sick and awfully cross. I hope I may feel better tomorrow. Weather pleasant.
