126. Sunday November 19th 1876. I did nothing but help with the work and read a little. I did not feel very well. If I had felt better would have taken a walk down the river. Monday November 20th 1876 I did the washing this forenoon and in the afternoon we girls both went to town It was time to begin supper when I got home and Hatt did not come for some time after I knit all the evening. Tuesday November 21st 1876. I helped about the house-work all the forenoon and ironed in the afternoon and knit in the evening. I had a letter from Jennie this morning and Charlie at night. Wednesday November 22nd 1876 I made a general house cleaning and took the sewing machine into our room It took every minute of the forenoon. And I baked a cake in the afternoon. I knit all the time I had in the afternoon and evening. I had a letter from Will.
