132 Monday December 11th 1876. I did a large washing this forenoon. And went to town in the afternoon. It was a real pleasant day. I began sewing as soon as I came from town and did not stop till nearly eleven oclock. letter from Jen Tuesday December 12th 1876. Mother went to the valley today. We did the work and a big ironing. It was nearly supper time when we got through. I felt too tired to sew at night and put in the time writing a long letter to Jennie. It was a lovely day. I got an invitation to attend the Leap Year Ball at the St. James. Wednesday December 13th 1876.
