153. Saturday February 10th 1877. I helped with the work till dinner time and baked cake. Soon after dinner I went over to Esthers to spend the afternoon. Pete came up to supper and we had a pleasant visit We came home about eight oclock And after the young folks came from society all hands played cards till nearly midnight. Pleasant day. Sunday February 11th 1877 I helped with the work all day. I had intended to go to church this evening but it come up stormy at night and we did not go. Pete came over before supper and spent the evening here. Winnie took supper here and Jim who was here went home with her. I dident get any writing done. Monday February 12th 1877 We did not wash and after dinner I changed my dress As Mr Palmer and Pete were expected. They came about two oclock and after a short call Palmer went back to town and Pete and I took a walk down
