157. Tuesday February 20th 1877. Mother did the washing today and we girls did the work. Aunty Walker was here for dinner. I did some mending in the afternoon. After supper We got ready for the party. Pete came over to go with me. I enjoyed myself very well indeed. Did not dance as much as as I generally do on account of my cold. I had a splendid long letter from Jennie. Wednesday 21st 1877. Helped with the work this forenoon. And in the afternoon drew of a pair of pillow cases for Mothers bed. Hatt went to the valley in the afternoon. And soon after supper I went to bed. Thursday February 22nd 1877. I ironed this forenoon and we were baking some in the afternoon. What time I had for sewing was put in on my pillow case Win spent the afternoon here. There is a prospect of a storm tonight I did not sew but a little while after supper I was sleepy and went to bed early
