158 Friday February 23rd 1877 I helped with the work and worked on my pillow case today. The boys all went of to society in the evening. Pete came over and we played seven-up. I quit one game ahead. Six years ago tonight Lizzie Lindley was married. Saturday February 24th 1877. I put in all the forenoon cleaning up the house and baked the bread. while Mother went to town in the afternoon I got some little sewing done. Win came over and stayed all night with me We played cards awhile in the evening. Sunday February 25th 1877. It took all the forenoon to get the house-work done. I changed my dress before dinner. We had only got the dishes washed when Pete came and him and I went over to see Mollie. When we came home took a walk way around by the road. It was nearly time to begin supper when we got home. Did not go to church in the evening but spent it at home looking over old letters. Weather splendid.
