160 Thursday March 1st 1877 I did not feel like doing any thing this forenoon. I spent the afternoon in town doing some little shopping and making a few calls. It began to rain just before night Mother was in town but I got home and had the supper began when she got here. I sewed a little in the evening and wrote a note to Pete. Friday March 2nd 1877 We girls helped with the work and sewed our pillow cases we are chain-stitching till time to get supper. All hands went to the Irving Exhibition. I went over with Otto but Pete walked home with me. Sunday March 3rd 1877. When I got up this morning I found it snowing I did not think of trying to go to Uncle Jims. I baked cake and helped do the work before dinner. And in the afternoon and evening I worked on my pillow case.
