168. Friday March 23rd 1877 Weather colder and the mud froze up. I finished the ironing and helped get the dinner. Soon after dinner I went over to Wins to spend the afternoon. In the evening Rob & Ella, Mr Pottle & Hatt, came over there and Pete came there for me and we took Winnie with us and all hands went to hear Edith O Gorman lecture. We were all well pleased with it. Saturday March 24th 1877 I felt miserable all day I did not do much of any thing but help with house work Mother and Ella went to the lecture in the afternoon. Ella Robinson was here awhile. The young folks all went to society in the evening. I staid at home and went to bed early. Weather warmer.
