175. Saturday April 7th 1877. I went to town the first thing this morning and as soon as I got home I went down to Luses of an errand. Mother went to town in the afternoon and I did some cake baking as we have company tonight. Our friends came and all appeared to enjoy themselves I passed a very pleasant evening. Sunday April 8th 1877. I was all the forenoon helping with the house-work. It began to rain about noon but did not last long. Pete came over soon after dinner and him and I went down to Robinsons awhile. In the evening three couple of us went to church. Monday April 9th 1877. I did the washing this forenoon and soon after dinner went over town to see Flo Watson. I found she was gone in the country so I spent the afternoon with Mrs Irish. It rained when I was coming home. Wrote a letter to Lizzie in the evening while they all went to see Tom Thumb.
