182. Friday April 27th 1877 I did something today I dont generally do after being up late at night I went to bed a part of the day. Late in the afternoon and evening I worked on my pillow case. It was a gloomy rainy day and evening. Saturday April 28th 1877. It still keeps rainy. I sewed on my pillow cases all day and part of the evening. Pete came over and did not go back to town it was so rainy. Cattrell and Hatt played him and I at whist, games even and we had a good game. Sunday April 29th 1877. There was snow on the ground this morning and it continued snowing most of the day. It was late when we got up and it took a good part of the day to cook three meals. Pete spent the day here and the afternoon was devoted to looking over picture papers. It was too stormy to go to church and we all settled down at home.
