185 Sunday May 6th 1877 I just poked around at the housework till three oclock by the time I had changed my dress Jim Stevens and Jim McCallister came they were here about an hour and soon after they started home I helped get the supper over It was raining just at night but Pete came over. It was so stormy that none of us went to church and Pete stayed all night. Monday May 7th 1877. It rained nearly all day I finished an apron for myself that I began Saturday and knit in the afternoon and evening. Tuesday May 8th 1877. I did the washing in the forenoon myself and late in the afternoon went to town to get me some more gloves as those I got last week were too large. I went into the store and got a dish of cream. Walked home at six oclock with Rob. Weather pleasant.
