193. Sunday June 3rd 1877. It was a splendid morning and I began to do my share of the work before breakfast. Pete came over about nine oclock and as soon as I could get ready we started to spend the day in the valley. We drove to the cemetery first and from there to Aunt Sarahs where we made a pleasant call We went farther on down the road and came back to Aunt Ems where we had a splendid visit and a good dinner and then walked down to Aunt Libs. We took supper at Stevens and had such a pleasant ride home. What a pleasant Sunday we have had. Monday June 4th 1877. It looked like rain this morning but we began to wash. We put the clothes to soak till after supper. We made a white waist for Hatt and got it done before supper. It looks as if it might clear of now. I felt tired at night after practicing a little while went to bed.
